For property managers
Confirm your email and find your welcome message
What arrives in your inbox when you sign up, and what to do when it does not.
Before you start
- You only need the email address you signed up with.
- Signing in with Google skips this entirely. Google has already proven your address, so there is nothing for you to confirm.
What you get when you sign up
One email, not two. It welcomes you, explains what Wealthru is for, lists the three steps to get going, and carries a Confirm your email button. There is no separate confirmation message.
The three steps in it match the setup wizard:
- Add your first property. A rental or a home you own. Both count toward what you are worth.
- Add a tenant and a lease. Set the rent, the deposit and the due day, then post the month.
- See your net worth. Add a value and a mortgage, and your dashboard leads with your equity.
Confirm your address
- Open the email and choose Confirm your email.
- You land on Wealthru with your address confirmed.
The link works for 24 hours and can only be used once. That is deliberate: a confirmation link is a key to your account, so it expires and it does not work twice.
If you signed up with Google
You get a welcome email too, but it has no confirmation button, because there is nothing to confirm. Its button takes you straight into setting up your portfolio. It arrives once, when you first sign up, and never again when you sign in later.
Troubleshooting
- The email has not arrived. Check your spam or junk folder first. If it is not there, go to the sign-in page and ask for a new one. You will get the same welcome email with a fresh link.
- The link says it is invalid or expired. It is past 24 hours, or it has already been used. Ask for a new one from the sign-in page.
- You can still use Wealthru while unconfirmed. Confirming proves the address is yours so we can reach you about your account. It is not a lock on the door.
- You changed your mind about email. Every message we send carries an unsubscribe link, including this one. You can also choose which emails you get from Settings.
Good to know
- If our email provider is having a bad day, your account is still created normally. The welcome email is sent on a best-effort basis and never blocks signing up.
- The confirmation link is stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody, including us, can read your link out of the database and use it.
