For property managers
Put asset servicing on a schedule
Record when an asset was last serviced and how often it should be, and the next service appears in the property's Key dates beside the mortgage renewals and warranty expiries you already watch.
Before you start
- You need to be a property manager or account owner.
- The asset must be registered on the property's Assets tab. See the asset registry there, a furnace, an appliance, a roof, anything you maintain.
Set the schedule
- Open the property and go to Assets.
- On the asset (or when adding one), fill Last serviced and Service every (months).
- Save. The asset row now shows the next service date, and the property's Key dates shows a Service due row for it.
Wealthru never suggests an interval. Your equipment, your call, so the schedule is only what you set.
When the date comes up
On the Key dates rail, the Service due row carries Raise a work order. One click opens a new maintenance request with the asset already named, you pick the unit and add any detail. When the work is done, update Last serviced on the asset and the next date moves forward.
Good to know
- An interval with no last-serviced date shows no due date. The clock starts at the service date you record, nothing is guessed.
- Each asset has its own schedule, two furnaces make two Service due rows.
- This is separate from warranty expiry reminders, which come from the warranty date on the same asset.
