One-line goal
Know what to expect after you apply, so the wait is less stressful.
Before you start
- You do not need a Wealtharu account to apply. You can fill in and send a rental application without signing up.
- We email you a confirmation as soon as your application goes through. Keep it. The link in it opens your tracking page, where you can check your status and add documents.
- If you saved your application partway through and emailed yourself a link, that link keeps working too. Before you send the application it reopens the form where you left off, and after you send it, it takes you to your tracking page.
Steps
- Check your application status. Open the link from your confirmation. It shows where your application is, such as received, in review, or decided.
- Attach your documents. Add a government ID, proof of income, and references, either right after you send the application or later from your tracking page. See Attach documents to your rental application.
- Reply to any follow-up. The landlord may ask for a document or a detail. Sending it quickly keeps things moving.
What happens next
- If you are approved, the landlord prepares a lease for you to review and sign online. You will usually be asked for a deposit too. Read the lease before you sign, and ask questions if anything is unclear.
- Timelines are up to the landlord. Wealtharu does not set a fixed wait. Some landlords decide in a day, others take longer, especially if several people applied.
Troubleshooting
- I did not get a confirmation. Check your spam or junk folder first. If it is not there, the email address on the application may have a typo, so reach out to the landlord and ask them to confirm they got your application.
- My link opens the form again instead of my status. That happens only while your application is still a saved draft, which means it has not been sent yet. Finish the form and send it, and the same link will take you to your tracking page from then on.
- I need to update my information. If you spotted a mistake, contact the landlord and ask them to update it or to let you reapply. You do not need an account to do this.
