Review province notice periods and deposit deadlines
Wealthru shows tenants and managers two province figures: the minimum notice to end a tenancy, and the deadline to return a deposit after it ends. They ship as representative placeholders, and every surface that shows one marks it PREVIEW until a human has reviewed it. This is where you record that review.
Where it is
- Sign in as a platform admin and open Admin.
- Go to Tenancy notice + deposit-return rules, under the rent-increase guidelines.
What a row means
One row per province, per rule year. The year is part of the row, so entering next year's figures never overwrites this year's.
- Preview. Nobody has saved this province for this year. The seeded placeholder is in use and tenants see the figure watermarked.
- Reviewed. Someone saved it, and their email and the date are recorded.
- Needs review. It was reviewed, but long enough ago to be worth checking again.
- (default). No row has been saved yet, so the placeholder is being served.
A banner at the top counts the provinces still showing tenants an unreviewed figure.
Record a review
- Enter the tenant notice days, the landlord notice days, and the deposit return days.
- Leave Deposit return days blank where the province sets a process rather than a day count. Blank shows as "no deadline on file", which is honest. Zero would read as "return it the same day".
- Add the official source URL, and a note if the rule has conditions a single number cannot carry.
- Select Save.
Saving records you as the reviewer and drops the PREVIEW mark for that province only. Every other province keeps its own state.
What a missing row does
Nothing breaks. Unlike a rent-increase guideline, a missing tenancy rule never refuses anything: the minimum notice is advisory, so the placeholder is served and simply marked unreviewed. Going silent would take a warning away from the person who needs it.
