For property managers

Email all your tenants at once

Send one email to every tenant who agreed to receive email from you, from Messages.

Before you start

  • Emailing all your tenants is on the Portfolio plan. On another plan the page shows what the plan includes instead.
  • It is a commercial email under Canada's anti-spam law (CASL). It reaches only the tenants who agreed to receive email from you, and every copy carries a one-click unsubscribe link, added for you. See Messaging consent and delivery to record consent.
  • For news about one building, like a water shut-off, use Notify residents on that property instead. That notice is about the tenancy, so it reaches every resident.

Steps

  1. Open Messages and tap Email all your tenants.
  2. Check Who gets this. It shows how many tenants agreed to receive email and how many have an email on file but did not agree. Only the first group receives it.
  3. Write a Subject and your Message, then tap Email with the count on the button.

When it is sent, the page shows how many tenants it went to and how many were skipped.

Notes

  • A restricted manager reaches only the tenants of the properties assigned to them.
  • If no tenant has agreed to receive email yet, there is no one to send to, and the button stays off.

Say it instead

Some accounts can say or type email all my tenants in Cmd K (or Say or type on a phone). Anything you say after it becomes the message, and Wealthru asks for the subject. The card shows how many tenants receive it, and that only the ones who agreed get it, before you send. See Talk to Wealthru.
