Get a copy of your data

You can ask Wealthru for a copy of everything we hold about you, and download it yourself. You do not need to email anyone or explain why.

Steps

1. Open Settings from the menu.
2. Find Export your data and choose Request export.
3. We build the file in the background and email you a secure private link. Open it to download.

What is in it

A zip of files, one per kind of record. If we hold nothing of a kind, that file has only its column headings, so you can tell the difference between "nothing to show" and "something went missing".

• Your details: your name, contact details, emergency contact, and your sign-in.
• Where you lived: the unit and address for each of your tenancies.
• Your tenancy: your leases, every stage they moved through, notices you gave, renewal offers, rent increases, your signature record and your renter insurance.
• Your money: what you were charged, what you paid, your deposit with any deductions and what was paid back, refunds, payment plans, and the reminders we sent you.
• Your repairs: the requests on your home, their comments, how each one progressed, and the photos.
• Your messages with your landlord or manager, and any files attached to them.
• Your consent: what you agreed to receive, when, and every change to it.
• How you got here: your enquiry, your application, the decision on it, any holding deposit, your screening record and what you agreed to when it was run.
• Your move-in and move-out inspections and every item recorded in them.
• Your documents, both the list and the files themselves.

Open README.txt first. It lists everything in the archive with a count.

What is deliberately not in it

Two things, and README.txt names them:

• Your sign-in credentials, session tokens and one-time links. These are keys, not records. A copy travelling by email would be a risk to you with no benefit.
• Information about other people. Which staff member wrote a note, a private note staff wrote to each other about a repair, a contractor's quote, or anything belonging to another resident. Privacy law protects them the same way it protects you.

Notes your landlord wrote about you

Free-text notes kept on your tenant record are included. They are information held about you, so you are entitled to see them.

Good to know

• The link expires after about 15 days. Download the file before then.
• You can request a new export at any time, up to five a day.
• The file reflects the records as they stood when it was built.

Troubleshooting

• The download link says it expired. Request a new export and use the fresh link.
• Something you expected is not there. Check README.txt for the file and its count, then reply to the email that carried the archive or write to support@gowealthru.com and we will look.
