Pay your rent online by card and get an instant receipt.

Before you start

  • You need a tenant account linked to your lease. If your property manager invited you, accept the invite email first, then sign in.
  • Have a card handy. Payments are processed securely. Wealthru never stores your full card number.

Steps

  1. Sign in. You land on Your home.
  2. Find the Pay your rent panel. It shows your current balance, which is the total you owe across any unpaid rent.
  3. Select Pay your rent and enter your card details in the secure payment form.
  4. Confirm the amount and submit.

Pay only part of what you owe

If you cannot clear the whole balance this week, you do not have to wait or email your manager.

  1. Under the Pay button, choose Pay a different amount.
  2. Type the amount you can pay, for example 250.
  3. Select Pay by card.

The smallest part payment is $5.00, or your whole balance if it is under $5.00. You cannot pay more than you owe. The rest stays on your balance and you can pay it later, in as many parts as you like. Each part payment goes against your oldest unpaid rent first, so it counts straight away.

What happens next

  • Your payment goes against your oldest unpaid rent first, and your balance updates right away.
  • A receipt is created. Open it any time from the Recent payments panel on Your home.
  • Recent payments shows your five most recent. Choose View all payments for your full history, a page at a time.
  • Your property manager is told that the payment came in.

Troubleshooting

  • Card declined. Your bank turned down the charge. Try another card or contact your bank. Your manager is told about a failed attempt, and your balance stays unpaid until a payment goes through.
  • Balance looks wrong. Open What makes up my balance on Your home. It shows a row per month with what was charged and what you paid, and it adds up to the balance shown above it. See See what makes up your balance.
  • The amount box will not let me continue. The amount is either under $5.00 or more than you owe. The message under the box says which, and it names the amount you can pay.
  • Prefer e-Transfer or cash? Those are arranged with your manager and confirmed on their side. Ask them for instructions and they will log it against your balance.
  • No card option at all? Your manager decides which methods to offer, and online card and bank payment are only available once their payout account is set up. Until then the page shows the other ways to pay, or asks you to contact your manager. Your rent is not late because of this. Ask your manager how they would like to receive it.
